Zach Betonte is once again beckoned to the “Director’s Club” podcast, this time to discuss his absolute favorite filmmaker in the history of the Earth; David Lynch. Rejoining Patrick Ripoll and Jim Laczkowski, along with giving fellow guest, Nat Alimrall, the glad hand, these turkeys take to discussing the director’s entire body of work but specifically dissecting Lynch’s noir masterpiece, “Blue Velvet” along with the elusive and puzzling, “Mulholland Drive”. There’s also an extensive “What We’ve Been Watching” segment which includes a remarkable “Lighting Round” along with brief chatter about “The Great Gatsby”, “LOL”, “American Splendor”, “The Paradise Institute”, and the documentary, “Stories We Tell”. So grab your log, a piece of cherry pie, along with some DAMN fine coffee, and sit back and enjoy the episode!
